Browning & Associates (B&A) is a strategic communications consultancy delivering success for our clients worldwide. Headquartered in London, we have over 100 senior-level consultants in dozens of countries who design and deliver tailor-made programs that advance the goals of our varied client base – from FORTUNE 500 companies to governments, NGOs and foundations to individuals.

B&A works with senior management on diverse complex challenges linked to the public agenda – typically related to corporate reputation and CSR, new market entry or government policy – in countries around the world.

As trusted advisors to some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and corporate boards, we quickly set up teams of the most senior strategic consultants with decades of experience tailored to client needs. We then design or implement smart communications strategies that deliver results for companies and their stakeholders.

Our sectoral experience spans finance, energy, transport, shipping, infrastructure, healthcare and agriculture.

Our environmental business, Browning Environmental, also works with companies on issues specifically related to the environment.

On June 23 2016, the citizens of the United Kingdom voted narrowly to leave the European Union. There has been significant upheaval in politics and business. The result is risks but also opportunities for most businesses.

B&A has a network of consultants monitoring developments on a daily basis, who can provide reliable intelligence, counsel and support on all Brexit-related issues, whether long-term or immediate.

Public Procurement

B&A helps our clients to win tenders by producing clear, compliant and compelling proposals.

We can assemble a bid team and maximise their potential through effective management to develop a persuasive tender that scores highly, demonstrates maximum value to the customer, and stands out from the competition.

We have consulted on tens of billions of pounds of public procurement bids in the UK, Middle East and south east Asia, with an extremely high strike rate. Our specialist areas include transportation, infrastructure/construction and healthcare.

Litigation Support

B&A often provides communications support around various forms of litigation in the UK and Europe, including the High Court in London and ICC arbitration courts in Paris.

We help lawyers and clients to navigate public opinion by communicating their case effectively. Our aim is to successfully support legal actions or defences, and to protect reputation. We have acted in a range of domestic and international disputes, in particular in relation to disputed foreign investments, complex claims for damages and divorce proceedings.

Crisis Management

B&A has decades’ experience working with senior business people on preparing for crises or advising them in the heat of a crisis.

Crisis preparedness is about devoting time and budget to ascertaining the key risks for an organization, and setting up systems that are robust enough to minimize the damage and either return to business-as-usual or enter a new era.

Crisis management is about ensuring the right advice is close to hand and that there is a network of individuals who can quickly deliver results that correspond to the best approach to resolving the crisis.

In both cases B&A has some of the world’s best crisis managers available 24/7 in most regions of the world.

International Affairs

B&A has multi-lingual teams of consultants working on a networked basis in over 30 countries worldwide.

They have helped governments and government agencies achieve their goals in challenging situations including war, terrorism or political instability, or more conventional campaigns on FDI, tourism, human development and the environment for example. We have also worked with politicians from around the world seeking support beyond their home countries.

Drawing on a vast international network of key influencers, we are able to co-ordinate international campaigns that deliver success, whatever your objective.

Our environmental business, Browning Environmental, has also supported a number of government agencies and politicians tackling issues related to the environment.

B&A consultants have worked at a senior level at a number of UN organisations, where we maintain strong networks.

We have also worked with most of the large international NGOs on the full range of development issues – from nutrition to refugees.

Our platforms and executed campaigns have delivered on a wide variety of business targets, from rebuilding reputation to fundraising, from delivering government policy change to new partnerships.

Our environmental business, Browning Environmental, also works with IGOs and NGOs on issues specifically related to the environment.

Executive Communications

B&A has long worked with senior executives of major corporations as well as men and women managing entrepreneurial or family firms.

We provide a dedicated service to help them raise their profiles, change public perceptions about their roles, and to expand their networks. We also support executives in crisis situations, where their careers and success are on the line.

Our advice and support is provided in-country and abroad, and we often work alongside centrally contracted communications agencies.

Our executive service is managed by a specialist business which also serves high profile individuals including royalty, UHNWs and politicians.
